This is my personal webpage.
I am a Consulting Engineer in the Engineering Mechanics and Infrastructure division at Simpson, Gumpertz and Heger (SGH).
At SGH, I have worked on:
1) Soil structure interaction analyses of buried bridges, tunnels, pipes and tanks
2) Evaluation of a seimic category I reinforced concrete structure subjected to Alkali Silica Reaction (ASR)
3) Failure investigation of a roof system undergoing excessive deflections
4) Failure investigation of glass breakage in a cable net structure
Before working with SGH, I pursued a PhD in Civil Engineering under the guidance of Professors Andrew Whittaker and Ravi Ranade. I investigated and maintain an active interest in the the seismic behavior of concrete and reinforced concrete structural walls subjected to elevated temperatures. I also developed a strain hardening cementitious composite for applications in high temperatures and investigated its mechanical behavior along with its bond to rebar when subjected to temperatures upto 800 degree C.
